Latino Review report that three more villains will be joining Lex Luthor in Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
First off, LR debunk the Metallo rumors that been circulating for a while and also the Joker rumors that TMZ reported on a while back, but they do say that the Clown Prince may be mentioned as he supposedly has affected Batman’s past — something to do with Robin? Speaking of Robin, LR still persist that Dick Grayson/Nightwing is in the movie, saying he will be in his mid-20s in Dawn of Justice.
Onto the actual Batman v Superman villains, scooper El Mayimbe reports that three secondary villains will appear in the film. Batman villain Victor Zsazs will appear early on as a foe for the Dark Knight to defeat. Two more villains will be Lexcorp public relations executive Morgan Edge and assassin David Cain. Edge’s role is explained: “Basically, he’s Lex Luthor’s mouth piece. We meet Edge early on when he goes toe to toe with Lois Lane in a television talk show. In the movie’s backstory, Edge and Luthor were members of the most notorious gangs ever to come out of Hob’s Bay.” Cain supposedly teams up with Mercy Graves (rumored to be Tao Okamoto) to set up an assassination for Luthor. Finally, as a bonus, Mayimbe revealed that Amanda Waller will appear in Dawn of Justice, being an antagonist to Superman as she doesn’t trust him in the slightest and takes counter-measures against the Man of Steel. It’s worth noting that Amanda Waller appeared in 2011’s Green Lantern (played by Angela Bassett) and is a presence in The CW’s Arrow TV series (played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson). Very interesting details. It looks like these characters won’t be overshadowing key villain Lex Luthor and will rather function to serve Luthor’s evil motivations and actions and show how much of a threat he is to Batman and Superman. I wouldn’t expect to see too much of these characters and that they’re identities would more be as nods to the fans, but it is still cool to know that they will appear come May 6th, 2016, when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters.
