WETA Digital has confirmed that they are working on Zack Snyder’s first sequel – Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
In a video interview with Collider (Via SupermanHomepage), WETA Digital employees Joe Letteri and Dan Lemmon confirmed that they will be working on Batman V Superman, but remain coy on any details. For those who don’t know, WETA Digital worked on Man of Steel, notably the stunning and encapsulating Krypton sequences that Zack Snyder stunningly brought to the screen.
In the interview with Collider, Joe Letteri and Dan Lemmon talked about another Warner Bros behemoth: The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies. However, Collider slyly got WETA to admit to working on Zack Snyder’s next masterpiece, saying “We are working on the Man of Steel sequel, yes… We can’t say much more than that, but we’re excited.”
One has to wonder what kind of special effects they’ll kick out this time around. Two DC heroes – The Flash and Aquaman – are rumored to cameo. Snyder may also offer the first proper cinematic version of Batman. One has to wonder if WETA will work on effects pertaining to Wonder Woman’s lasso, whose making her cinematic debut.
